After moving into the house we learned the original owner was here for about 50 years and her name is Rose, so we lovingly dubbed this home "The Rose House." Finding glass marbles in the backyard tugs smiles from us and our minds wander to children in the 50's playing here. For us, The Rose House was HOME the day we moved in.
